Crawfish Boil!

Big weekend for the little muffin---after a long, hard week for mom but we'll get to that---she had another 'first' this week and went to her first crawfish boil! This is an annual party that Jason & I go to and it's funny how the party is changing over the years...Still plenty of beer & crawfish for sure, but every year there are more and more little ones. At this party last year I was secretly wondering whether or not I was pregnant (TA DA!) so kind of funny reminiscing back to last year.
As usual, Jason ate about half of this...I think crawfish boils are one of my favorite parties, it's the perfect time of year. I wish we could have a similar annual party, but alas, I just know we can't pull it off. It's like you are a complete poser if you aren't actually from Louisiana trying to have a shing-dig..Lots of food!
Um, so I'll be making a run to Babies R Us this week and Jason has a new backyard project. Carson LOVED this swing, I think I took at least 75 pictures of her in it. That poor baby kept falling over, but by God don't take her out or make the swing stop.
So back to mommy. I am a little bit of a head case right now. Carson had her first week at Ms.Judy's (she did great!) and I am officially back to work. I'm not going to lie- it's so hard leaving her. But it's nice to be back at work using that part of my brain again. But I'm eternally conflicted and I feel like my heart is torn everyday dropping her off (hence daddy drops her off most days) and at 4pm on the dot I'm racing out of work like a Nascar driver to go pick up my pumpkin. The situation would be a whole lot easier if I didn't like my job so much and everyone wasn't being so flexible with me...In my heart I think I'll know when the time is right to be home fulltime, I just don't think the time is now. But that doesn't make this any easier. (Sad Face)
