Today was a very special day for me and will mark a special place in my heart. Today was Carson's Baby Dedication at Church. I know each church is very different on what they believe, but at Northwest Bible the baby dedication is a gesture of the parents to publicly announce our intentions of raising Carson in the church and as our commitment to passionately pursue Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, as not just individuals but as parents.
This day was just really special for me as a mother and it was just icing on the cake that it was also my first Mother's Day. Many of you know it was a long road in having a Carson (and one I wasn't too open about until recently) and I just felt so proud for getting to participate in this. All of our families and some very special friends were there supporting us and it was just a completely wonderful day for me. I will always treasure my first Mother's Day.
The parents stood up at the front of the church and they did a little slideshow of the babies to introduce us.
Relaxing with Aunt Lindsay. Carson was the missing belle of the ball most of the afternoon! She completely crashed all afternoon!
Some of my favorite people- Adorable Lily, my nephew Kaleb, and my godson Cole! It was soo funny. All 3 kids went to children's church so they got to play together....Kaleb had a little bit of a crush on Miss Lily!
Doing what boys do best--lounging on the couch..I think Bryan really realized after today, he's in for a loooong road having an adorable daughter and a son whose friends will only be a year older than her...
