Sip N See

What a funny term really. Sip N See.. I just get this image of proper women sitting around drinking tea out of tiny china cups and sweating intensely in a formal dinner room as a perfect baby dressed in white quietly coos. Um yeah, not quite the reality..This is more the reality and what she looked like minutes before the party...

Anywho, these things tend to go by several names: gawk & grace, meet & greet, beer & babies (or maybe I made that one up..). But for anyone not down with the lingo, basically it's an excuse to have a party and make a fuss over the bay-be...She's my little drool babydoll at the moment if you can't tell.

And my mother in law did an awesome job of making a fuss over her little munkchin (I know that's shocking for anyone who knows Rosemarie..you should have seen the food spread, my God we shall not go hungry!). But we had a great weekend in Boerne and Carson was on her best behavior! And as we are learning, my little toot is a lot of wonderful things but laid-back is not an adjective commonly used to describe her. But she was a very happy girl during the party and was very good at being passed around. Happy First Trip to Boerne!!
