Everyone thank-you so very much for the kind words, prayers, and support over the past few weeks. Last week was by far the scariest ordeal I have ever been through in my entire life. The worst part of it was just not knowing and waiting for to see what exactly what come back....but what we do know is that my dad is very very lucky man. Long-term, he is really going to be ok. We are still working through the mental therapy, he's for sure not quite ol'Mike of days yore quite yet BUT he's come a long way.
God was giving my dad a warning to change his lifestyle. A fast-food diet, smoking, and high-stress did this to him. My advice to everyone is to stay on top of your parents to get healthy!
On a MUCH happier note, Carson is finding her voice and picking up new sounds every day. I for real rarely even turn the TV on b/c she is so entertaining..Her latest is motorboating..It's SOO funny!! She really gets into it around the 1 minute mark!
