Jason & I just got back from our first vacation since baby girl joined us. Puerta Vallerta was beautiful & we did nothing for 5 days--literately nothing. We slept until 8:30 or 9! We ate & ate some more, read a BOOK even, laid on the beach, then slept some more. Casa Velas where we stayed is a small boutique hotel just couldn't have been better and the food was just amazing and every bit the 5 star restaurant quality it promised.

From outside of our room, we had this really neat private pool that overlooked the golf course..Although with it being 100 degrees didn't observe many golfers!
We spent most of the time at the beach house even in the evenings, just so peaceful and serene. However, by Thursday we were both absolutely homesick for miss Carson. She stayed in Boerne with Mimi & Papa Jon and was in quite good hands!

Sleep?! I am so jealous. So I can mark on my calendar about 7 months out I will be ready for an adult vacation! :-)
