I should really rename this blog "Carson's World" or "I'm-That-Mom-Who-Only-Talks-About-Her-Daughter" since it really has less to do with our family as a whole and is pretty much a forum for me to talk & post pics about Carson..but seriously, she's blowing kisses in this picture. How can I not be smitten?

The ride there. I'm glad they all look happy because what you don't see in this picture is that Carson is on the other side of Kayla. Poor Michael had to endure the 5 hour car-ride with his screaming

Nana & Little Miss...Seriously, mom was so fabulous. I still feel like I don't have that 'mom' quality down pat yet, she had a house full and never seems to get annoyed when the kitchen is dirty for the 50
th time that day..
The family & Woody of course--love them.
I'll spare the details since 99% of the people who look at this blog are in the Dallas or Tulsa general vicinity and I don't need to recap (yet again) the weather and how ugly it was over the holidays- you get it. Everyone gets it. The entire state of Oklahoma was snowed in. We all have a tragic story of something that didn't get to happen b/c of the snow..BUT we had a great & cozy Christmas at Mom's. Like everyone else, we didn't quite get to do everything we were hoping and things didn't go exactly as planned but there was plenty of food, sweets, & drinks and honestly as long as you have a pack of cards you can't be that bad off...
