I have been inaugurated.

Nothing like your first case of a tummy bug to officially welcome to you parenthood. Holy crap. She's 1 week shy of 11 months, I have been SOOO lucky that the worst thing my baby has had to endure is cutting teeth.
But alas my time came. Early last week (naturally when Jason was in New York) I had my first experience of the suckage that is your child getting sick. Little tidbit of the day for you: Projectile Vomit does exist. I had limited its reality to cartoons and stupid family movies staring Eddie Murphy. No, it's real. Ask the backseat of my car. While sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on 635 during rush hour. What did this pro mom do? I cried. I feel like I have earned my girl scout patch of the year. I am a warrior. I dealt with explosives from more than 1 area and still survived without yacking myself. or not quite. Sometimes I miss being a kid....I don't think you can ever fully appreciate your own parents until you go through that. (Mom, if I had the energy right now I'd send you 2 dozen roses. )

On a much lighter note though and the reason you look at this blog anyway--Pics! Happy 1st B-day to our Stilletto Stud Logan Deckard!!
I call this the 'Cake Hangover'. She's for sure my daughter. She loves a good carb in the form of chocolate.
Happy Retirement to Grandad!! Dad is retired as of this past Friday! WHOOHOO!!! Celebrating hardcore...
Just another day at the Arboretum, going to visit Santa's Reindeer....
Royal & Carson checking him out. Carson kept saying 'do, do'. Translation: dog. For sure she wasn't all that impressed, just thought it was Kayla with horns..
I know this is coming, but I still can't imagine that Carson will soon be running. Royal & Fletch were on a mission to follow frosty the anorexic snowman.
Meanwhile, my muffin was being a typical girl and was happy as a clam looking cute for the boys on her blanket playing with her necklace--we are very into jewerly these days you see. She was literately talking up a storm when I took this. What can I say, I definitely have a girly girl...
