Summer-O-Fun!

So my gal pals Angela, Julie, & I have declared this summer, the summer-o-fun....For me it's the summer-o-fun because I am not pregnant. For them it's the summer-o-fun because they will likely BE pregnant next summer..I'm kinda excited that I'll get to play consultant in that regard..
So my new life as a a SAHM. Loves it. It's for SURE about 1,000 times harder than going to work. I thought trying to understand the engineer genuises talk about wi-fi configurations and randome anteannas was hard. Well, that ain't go NOTHING on trying to understand the vocabulary of my (almost) 17 month old. It's hard. Really hard. (Staying at home, not my daughter's vocabulary). There are many, many points of wanting to throw myself out of the window at times with 2 screaming, needy babies. But at the end of the day when both kids are in bed and I'm having a glass of wine with Jason recapping Carson's newest development of the day, I realize how I do love it. Yesterday's story revolved around Carson dancing in the Nordstrom's shoe department and lifting up her leg to show people her shoes. She literately had an audience- I looked like the defeated mom carrying Caroline in the baby bjorn and trying to make sure she didn't run out while people wanted to small talk about how hard it must be having 2 under 2... But I learned a while back it's not about me looking cute anymore, it's her turn to be the cute one.
My CHicks. Carson is carbing up before her final swim lesson.
LC is 2 months old. Love this swimsuit from the McMillians....
On our way to BFF Claire's bday..with rabbit and funny bunny (since it's a dog with rabbit ears, never been sure what to call it). I kept thinking I need to get better on naming things, but friend Corrie has ruff-ruff and meow-meow so I don't feel too uncreative...
With BFF Alexis. C is a TOTAL waterbug, she is loving the pool. Emler's has been amazing, I kid you not she can hold her breathe underwater for 10 seconds.
Been a special week, my dad came to stay with us for 4 days. Dad gets major kudos, he was a champ and walked, babysat, changed diapers..Ya'll know I adore my dad. He's one of my BFFs..Another thing I love is the Dallas Zoo, pretty awesome I must say. She loved the petting zoo. She kept calling the baby goats dogs.
This was the best we were going to get as far as us both looking at the camera...
Happy Summer!
