Pumpkins & Pismo

So as I continue to embrace the mom-gig that means that I'm obliged to attend every pumpkin patch in town this time of year. Here I give you Owen Farms in Richardson/Plano- heck, who knows where I was..But you get to take home a pumpkin, that was fabulous! Once I got it home I realized, what the heck do I do with a little pumpkin? Fast forward to the obligatory Arboretum pumpkin patch. Little Mother/Daughter pic with LC. Love this kid. Happiest. Baby. VACATION!!!! The Hicks hit the West Coast--off to Pismo Beach we went for the wedding of Jennifer Hicks. Very fun trip to a Cali spot we had not been too. PB is about 3 hours north of LA near Paso Robles. We were also semi-celebrating our 8 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Cheers babe, love ya.

The real reason we went: for the wine touring. We hit several good ones, Concareious/St.Edward Cellars/Sallisbury, and a few bad ones, sorry Justin. This was a fabulous little winery we discovered Tablas. Beautiful. Amazing. Blah, blah, blah. Why were we not born in California? Lord, I would never leave either. Great trip, had a blast with the Hicks clan...

So tell me about again about that Stonebluff wine in Haskell, Oklahoma-- I believe it's their 'Grape Wine' is legendary? Or the Canton vineyard?
