The Conclusion of 2010.

As we bid adieu to 2010, I must briefly stop to reflect on this year. I think 2010 will always be a bit of blur. The year of 2 kids under 2. Honestly, it has been the hardest & best year of my life. Best of course because my family is complete. The year history wrote that the family legacy of Jason & Shelley has 2 little girls. God blessed me with my angel Caroline who is just the most charming, sweetest, smiliest baby on the earth. She lights up a room with her amazing eyes and ear to ear smiles. I adore her beyond words.

Hardest because, well, I think this best sums it up and I just reminded my friend Christin this story the other day...When I first told her I was pregnant with baby 2 she started crying. (Her kids are 19 months apart). At the time my feelings were really really hurt. 15 months later I get it. It's not easy.

But nothing worth anything in life is.

1 year ago today. Carson was 11 months old.

Fast forward 4 months to April 5, 2010. Best Monday of my life.

Fast forward to December 11, 2010. My sweet daughters.

It's been a great year. For me, one of learning many life lessons and how to be a mom--hey, no training manual comes with this job. As my husband will attest, patience is still one I am working on. But I think the lesson of perspective has been the biggest one of all.
