What the Grown-Ups have been up too...

Not really sure how we had so many fancy events come up at the same time, but I have to admit it's been really fun to have reasons to dress up. It's just funny to go to one extreme of not wearing make-up and strictly workout clothes pretty much during the week---to getting hair and make up done. It's kinda funny that it channels your inner 'princess' feeling which is not too different from Carson playing dress up...

Celebrating with Lenice!..and I swear it was so so random that we ended up dressing alike. Great mind think alike?

The new Omni downtown really is fantastic. We attended the Junior League of Dallas ball with a 1920's theme. This really was such a fun event since you know so many people, but it was indeed a new of beautiful people and high fashion at this one!

My hot date....I love his bow tie, can't lie. Nothing like a man who isn't afraid of a little pink!

This was from the Dallas Petroleum Club ball. It's always by far the most over the top event I can fathom from everything to the flowers, amazing food & wine. Alan Jackson played this year at the Anatole and it was a Mardi Gras theme. You know, just your typical Saturday night right?

Ahh, I am caught up. And as I finish this posting, Jason is finally done sorting his closet. A successful Sunday afternoon naptime for both of us...It's been so fun to play dress up, but I have to admit I am very happy to be getting back to the Saturday nights of ordering pizza with the kiddos and watching Saturday Night Live.
