School PreK-3. MDO 2.

I did not know how much I loved school until I spent 3 almost 4 months as a 24/7 mom. I adore them, but I have my limits as a mom. Messy craft mom I am not. And mastering potty training almost was the end of me this summer. But atlas, it was all worth it. For I bring to you..pics from the first day of school....
Caroline at 2: Goes to school Wednesday & Friday from 9 - 2. Teachers are Ms.Susan, Ms.Allison, and Ms.Cindy. Doesn't nap at school. Still likes a pacifier when she sleeps. Likes jumping, climbing, peanut butter sandwiches, and is a candy fanatic. Very tall and long-legged for her age. Pull her ponytail/bows out at nap time or when she's fussy. Best friend is Charlie Short. Fun facts: Recently 100% potty trained, one of the only ones in her class. She is spunky, fiercely independent and moves at 90MPH. She is a total spit-fire who nearly always gets her way with those huge brown eyes.

Carson at 3: Goes to school Monday/Wednesday/Friday. School is 8:45 - 11:45. Then extended day where she eats lunch and plays until 2. Best friends are Royce, Lily, Sarah. Carson is a very very bright little girl who is finding her voice right now. She's really coming into her own sense of self & style these past few months. She is a 'little mommy' type and is emerging as a little leader who is very likable among her peers. She is a total people pleaser and her teachers constantly tell me what a delight she is in the class room. I am constantly in awe at how smart and witty she is and her memory is phenomenal. Teachers this year are Mrs.Roth and Mrs. C. Loves a ham/cheese sandwich with pickles and mustard. She loves routines and absolutely adores school.

Only one of my besties Julie would enter and then WIN a pink limo ride on the first day of school. I'd say it was a huge hit. The kids had an absolute ball and it really started the year off right!
First day of school also convinced mommy it was time for first haircuts--Sweet & Sassy has new forever customers.

Carson has this amazing hair and lots of it. She really loved the process of being a big girl and getting her hair cut then braided and polishing off the look with a hint of purple hair glitter, face tattoos, and a strong bubble-gum hairspray.

Caroline on the other hand, has my hair and an attitude of  generally caring-less if she has crazy hair. She was skeptical, but in the end 'got it' and was happy to be a big girl too!
