OOOOOKLAHOMA!!

We made our first trip to the motherland last week. Believe it or not, Jason let me drive Carson to Tulsa..ALL BY MYSELF (he met us there on Friday)! So picture it last Tuesday, I think it took me about 4 hours to pack the car...aye aye aye, I think the days of the little Lexus are numbered..It took some careful engineering to get everything packed in, but away we left for Oklahoma at EXACTLY 4:37AM. My strategy was to do most of the driving before she woke up as to not upset the 'precious schedule'--any mommies out there reading this know what I'm talking about...

We had a great time, although we were very, very sad that Carson's debut to several friends & family was cut by mother nature..Only appropriate that her welcome to Oklahoma gift was 6 inches of snow on Saturday--I'm not even kidding. This pic below was mom's patio about noon.

I was so glad though that Kellie & I did get to bring the kiddos together to introduce Carson to Jessica's twins..It was a tall order getting all 4 cousins in the frame together. Little Kaleb & Koen were just fascinated with her!

We had such a great time getting see everyone that we did get to see and as usual, my mom went overboard in accommodating us and letting me get some much needed sleep! For those that we missed this trip, we'll for sure see you soon. We'll be taking another trip up there soon!
