I. Heart. Spring.

Ah, finally. We are getting to the other side. What a sucky winter this has been. We started swim lessons! I LOVE them! Huge fan..This is proving to be a super fun activity. We are going to Emler's Swim School and they are fabulous with them and it's amazing how quickly they pick little things ups (seriously I do not give these babies enough credit for how smart they are..In my mind they are still these little lumps). She held her breathe under water for 2 seconds today and while I nearly had a heart attack watching her come off the slide and go underwater, I have never been a prouder mom! Here we are carbing up pre-lessons..

Daddy gets in the water with her..and they go through various activities and rotations. Yeah, not gonna to do swim lessons with mommy for many many moons baby--sorry. Thank God dad is so good in the water with her!

A pic of the nursery at the moment (yes, I know I'm missing the B & Z letters). It's still a work-in-progress but this was a super fun project! I've just been picking up random letters throughout the pregnancy and we finally got them hung.. And sidenote: We don't know the sex. The baseball pic will come down if it's a girl--just figured I have a 50/50 shot of being right!

Top Breaking Story of our Month:

We have started potty-training! Actually, I have done nothing..But the gals that watch her at Ms.Hope's are FABULOUS and they know about 200 times more about babies than I do...Anywho, they mentioned about a week ago that they thought Carson was ready. (I was secretly thinking they were crazy, but hey go for it..). Um, I have never been so excited hearing daily bathroom updates before or ever actually.. Homegirl is getting it! She can only take about 5 steps at a time, but by golly she knows to crawl to the potty when she has to tingle...(Again, let me emphasize I take absolutely NO credit for this--Alicia & Megan work with her all day everyday on this..and apparently C is just picking it up pretty quick). I'm more impressed that anything that she can even do it once much less daily and she's not even 14 months old yet.....(and the people that read this blog are really the only audience who might appreciate this normally TMI info....).

And finally....Update on my group: Baby was measuring 6.7 pounds at our final sono this week. Kinda shocking, I am full term. Seriously? Already? 3 weeks from Monday (day after Easter) is the big day. Gulp. Lets do this.
