Memorial Weekend...

I love 3 day weekends like this. The kind where even if you have a few plans over the course of the days it doesn't feel stressed. Or rushed. They are rare. One must treasure them. Dinner with our besties the Stalls...a super fun b-day party...dinner with the Key West gang (3 more days!!), and finally wrapping up the weekend pool party style with the Phi Delt fams.

The Phi Delt gang has vowed we will try to get a group pic every time we get together. Well gang, this is about the best I got this weekend. 5 adult couples has turned in 20 people over the past 6 years... Yes that is my daughter going European-style. She's just a progressive thinker...What you don't see is my other daughter naked as a jay-bird running around the yard..Not sure where this anti-clothes movement is coming from..
I just crack up everytime I look at this one. Miss Thang was having NONE of the birthday party activity on Saturday, hello there is a grill to play with!
Also a recent fan favorite...We took a trip to Legoland last week and Carson somehow already figured out to karaoke. She's singing Abba's Dancing Queen, her entourage Caroline was grooving in the background. I'm pretty sure she sang EIEIO over and over...
This is my new favorite pic though. We took Carson to Cool Thursday's at the Arboretum. I had a ball dancing with her and watching her, this is one I won't forget. She was just so fun and cute, looking forward to a great summer! I just really like this quote that my friend Melanie sent me this morning...It has stuck with me since I read it.
