This was the type of vaca that Carnival Cruise commercials are made of. We went with 2 other couples, the Shaffers & Coopers, that are close friends and while I missed my girls terribly, it was awesome to stay up late with no regard to the morning's punishment.
If you have talked to me in person recently, my new hobby of scuba diving has likely come up. I have been wanting to get certified for years, but after my dad went on a few diving trips I knew I would love it...and I did. My first dive ever we went down 94 feet to a shipwreck site, the USS Naval something. Then our second dive we hovered around 25 feet in an amazing coral reef. It's just daunting to be in the middle of the ocean like that. I cannot wait to go again!
My goal when doing this post was to limit it to only 5 pictures which was quite a feat with the 278 pics that Roman took, the 70 I took, and the 5 that Melanie took. No one really wants to see 300 pictures of a fabulous vacation that you DIDN'T go on...(Hint, dad. Love you. You can scale that next Ireland trip down to 500 or so..)
So in the spirit of Key West, I give my top 4 vaca pics.
The Rooster. Roosters are to Key West what squirrels are to Dallas. They are everywhere and it's cute until day 2 and you realize that they never shut the F#!*& up, especially at 4am. This chicken had literately just crossed the road with its little chicken family.

Cuter group pic. I feel this most accurately captures the trip: Eating, Drinking, and Dancing. Throw in a tackiest t-shirt contest, flying first-class, about 15 bottles of wine, $3 slice pizza, shopping, cussing (why is it so freeing at times?), complimented with actual sleep, and you get a guaranteed good time.
