Seattle...Portland..and a little wedding...

Ahh, vaca. How I love you so..and it was awesome that we got to use Michael Dalton's wedding as a vacation excuse. Dalton was smart. Waiting until 34 to get married means that everyone owes you. Even if you are getting married in Portland, so about 15 or so Phi Delt Texas couples packed up and headed north...

We, however, took the extended vaca and hit Seattle with the Knights a few days early. We had an awesome stay at the Alexis Hotel and had some great food. Food, of course, is my favorite part of vacation and our spots didn't disappoint: Sushi Nijo, Purple Cafe, Sip, Library, the best cuban sandwich I have ever had in my life at Paseo, Etta's..and top it all off with a magnificant donut at Top Pot donuts.

Good thing we had a solid day of biking riding in Seattle to burn some of that off...

Ross chilling with the troll under the bridge...
After 2 full days, we traveled to Mount Hood for the actual wedding festivities....had a little wine or maybe a lot, did some dancing, hit some fun wineries, got to catch up with great friends. I am sure Mount Hood won't soon forget the obnixous Texas fraternity--and the speeches, oh the speeches. Priceless. Those northern folks were a little overwhelmed to say the least...But it was honestly the most beautiful wedding setting I have ever been too. And much love to the Mr. & Mrs. Michael Dalton!
